About me
Courtney Nicole Edwards is an award-winning producer, director, and learning experience designer whose work lives at the intersection of documentary storytelling, media literacy, and digital culture. With over a decade of experience across television, branded content, and education, she has produced and developed content for networks and platforms including Showtime, MTV, Amazon Prime Video, and digital-first media campaigns.
As the founder of LiveWithCourt Productions and creator of the Young & Filming media literacy initiative, Courtney develops human-centered storytelling experiences that empower young people to critically engage with media while creating documentary-style content of their own. Her work explores how storytelling can strengthen communication, emotional intelligence, literacy, and cultural connection in the age of AI and algorithm-driven media.
Courtney is completing her Master of Science in Information Design & Strategy at Northwestern University, where her capstone research focuses on designing contemporary media education frameworks for the digital future.
